Fibes quickly became one of the foremost American manufacturers of professional quality percussion instruments. The site is and here is the international dealers page History of Fibesįibes Drum Company was originally founded 30 years ago by Bob Grauso, a professional drummer, and John Morena, a specialist in composite materials, also a drummer. I just have to think of sound quality first.not popularity. Once they get here I know I will be very happy and this situation will all be history. I am also getting an extra 10% off on my order since they took longer than expected.and maybe cause they know I was thinking of canceling the order. I played a kit before I ordered my kit and they did sound very nice.įibes says they have all my toms ready (6) and the bass drums will be ready in September. I have heard many people say that they just sing when struck.

But never mind that.įibes Jasper maple shells blow away Yamahas Maple shells and many of the maple shells on the market from any company. So I decided that since the drums weren't ready I would go with something else. So after I met with him I felt kinda bad for choosing Fibes. But the way he did it wasn't very nice IMO.

I know that Pearl drums are great and since he is an endorser thats probably what he's gonna say. When I told him that I had a Fibes kit on order he was like why? That Pearl this, Pearl that. I met with him and he was so stuck on himself it was ridiculous. I almost had a lesson with a Pearl Endorser that lives close to me. I knew that if I had the kit here I would be very happy cus they are some of the best sounding drums on the market. I guess I was kinda restless since I have had the kit ordered for so long. I had thoughts that maybe I should have gone with a pearl kit or something else. Thats why I have been making all these threads about beech and Yamaha. I have been thinking about getting a Yamaha Beech kit.
